In a joint venture with CNA Insurance, The Georgetown Company took control of and repositioned the 1.1 million square foot Continental Center, converting it into a Class A, multi-tenant property that was completed in 2001. With architect Kohn, Pederson, Fox, The Georgetown Company created unique tenant amenity spaces including the Continental Club, a conference center and a branch of the International Center of Photography. As a result of this redevelopment, net operating income doubled.
